Spelling:
Reading: This week the students will begin a new story called Mahalia Jackson by Julius Lester . This story is an example of expository nonfiction which explains what certain things are and how they came to be. They will also be reading mini readers that will help them answer the question how does an artist use music to inspire others.
Writing: We are studying principle parts of irregular verbs and working on our DARE essays
