Our students have been practicing several of the released items from previous Maine Educational Assessment tests so that they will feel very comfortable and confident when they take the exams beginning the week of March 6th.  The exams will include questions in mathematics, language arts, reading, and science.  There is a separate math test where students can use calculators and a different test in which they may not use calculators.  On most parts of the test, the students will be asked to explain their reasoning by writing constructive response questions.

Having a substantial breakfast and getting a good night's sleep are always important.  We want our students to feel that they are ready in the morning to do their best work.  Sending snacks and notes of encouragement are always welcomed by our students.
