What's New

Important Assessment Information - Please read

If there is a snow day tomorrow, Thursday the 12th the schedule below will not change.

If there is a snow day during assessment week (January 17 - 20) we will bump the schedule forward a day.

Buses will run at regular time, 2:00, but we will also have a limited bus run for students who can leave at 11:00. This will be similar to the late bus runs. A light lunch will be available. Students who stay will be required to be with a teacher or in the cafeteria. We will only be taking attendance of those students whose teachers have required them to come for make-up/remediation time.

The assessments will run as follows:

17th: period 1 7:30-9:00; period 2 9:30-11:00. (Am voc. goes to voc.- Pm stays at HS)         

18th: period 3 7:30-9:00; period 4 9:30-11:00. (Am voc. goes to voc.- Pm stays at HS)

19th: period 5 7:30-9:00; period 6 9:30-11:00. (Pm voc. goes to voc.- Am stays at HS)

20th: period 7 7:30-9:00; period 8 9:30-11:00. (Pm voc. goes to voc.- Am stays at HS)

11 to 2 daily will be makeup time for assessments, eligible coursework and for remediation needed for academic success.

Freshmen will be here all periods, students grades 10-12 need to be present only during assessments and as required for makeup time.

  

Student  Expectations For Midterms

  • All Freshmen must be present in all classes 7:30-11:00.
  • Upperclassmen need to be present for assessment periods only.
  • All students may be dismissed at 11, unless they are mandated to attend makeup time.
  • All students must be ON TIME for each assessment period. Students will not be allowed to enter an assessment once the bell has rung, period. Students must report directly to the main office if they are late for the assessment to discuss if they are eligible to make it up during a makeup period.
  • Students will not be permitted to leave the rooms during the assessment periods, go to lockers, or be in the hallways. Please plan accordingly and bring all needed materials to your classes or study hall.
  • Teachers may mandate students to attend makeup time for extra help or make up of work.  Please be sure you know when and where you are expected to be.
  • Light lunch will be served in the café at 11.
  • Detention will be running Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:15-12:45.
  • Late bus runs (limited buses) will be running at 11 and buses will run at 2:00
  • Silent study halls will be silent. The library is available for quiet study throughout the day. Students who are in the building during assessment or makeup times will be required to be in the enclosed café, with a teacher or in the library.
