The JSMS Media Center currently has a library aide program open to students in grades 5-8.

Our student aides are responsible for running the circulation desk, shelving, helping other students and staff locate materials, processing materials for the collection and updating the media center website.

7th and 8th grade students participate as part of their Academic Enrichment rotation.  5th and 6th grade students participate during their recess or extended homeroom period.
