The eighth graders explored clay for the first month of the trimester using their choice of techniques to model their artwork. These pieces are currently being glazed. They studied contour lines and shading and drew pumpkins from observation. During semester two all of the students will have used cameras, photobooth, iphoto, and iDVD to create a slideshow and a presentation in iDVD set to music. They will also draw with pen and ink, and paint with acyrlics.
